- Wash the orange and lemon with warm water. Dry and peel them thinly. Put the skins on a baking tray and dry them in your oven on the lowest setting for one hour.
- Crush aniseed and cardamom in a pestle and mortar. Put them in a big jar, together with 3 tbsp lemon juice, the peels and wodka. Store it in a warm place for three weeks and shake it around a little every other day.
- Strain the mixture using a cheese cloth or fine sieve.
- Heat 500 ml of water with the light brown sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Let it cool down and pour into the wodka mixture. Store it in a pretty bottle.
